Little Rock, AR

Arrived in Little Rock early afternoon.  Spent a couple of hours touring President Clinton's Presidential Library.  Toured downtown Little Rock, caught up with Marilyn Koehler, friend with Little Rock CVB.  Drove to State House and Little Rock Central High School National Historic Site and Visitors Center known for 9 African American students standing their ground on the steps to the high school when being denined entrance.  Had a great dining experience at a restaurant overlooking Arkansas River where the chef is known for preparing "farm to table" entrees with only fresh items.  Then walked across The Big Dam Bridge which is on top of a hydro electric power plant including locks for moving boat traffic on the Arkansas River.  Plan to tour MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History tomorrow then head for Branson, MO.
