Ride the Ducks in Branson

Still in Branson and enjoying the area.  This morning we toured through the Ozarks on the Duck Boat that took us to the top of the mountain where military vehicles from World War II, Korean & Vietnam  were staged to honor veterans of these wars.  Branson is very high on honoring veterans in their restaurants, theaters and on their high ways.  Great to see the recognition and makes you proud to be an American.

Shows have been good but so far New South, the gospel quartet, is the best!  One of the guys was a finalist in season 6 of American Idols.  Great show and a "must see" if you go to Branson.

Upon a recommendation we went to Top of The Rock for dinner, which is a lodge, world-class
golf course and dining experience.  The food and presentation was above our expectations and the view was awesome.  Shuttles take you to the top of the mountain where you have a choice of 4 restaurants to choose from, along with a wine cellar tour and tasting.

The owner, Johnny Morris, originally built the lodge for he and his family and has expanded over the years making it a unique landmark with extraordinary attractions.
